Scroll down for the word for February!
December is always a busy month. Holidays, family, lots of food… That means little to no time to get creative! And after Christmas, I went to Marrakech for a eleven-day vacation, so my time to get creative got even shorter!
Luckily, the word “Pancakes” can be easily made into something we need to do every day: eat. Even with the holiday-stress and packing for vacation, I had to eat! So on the morning of the Second day of Christmas, I made some delicious American pancakes. Since my boyfriend doesn’t like blueberries, I couldn’t add that to the batter (even though I wanted to). Plain American pancakes, it is!
The recipe
I used a recipe from a Dutch website, called Laura’s Bakery. Some of my other recipes come from this site as well, like my vanilla cake. Her baked goods are easy to make and taste delicious!
Ingredients
- 230 g flower
- 16 g baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 eggs
- 30 g butter, melted
- 300 ml milk
Mix all these ingredients and pour some batter in a heated pan. When the pancakes starts bubbling on top, you can flip them.
And yes, that’s it! It is super easy and they tasted soooo good!
